It was a shame that Toni Braxton’s last single, the achingly fab pop song ‘Make My Heart’ didn’t do anything for her in the charts anywhere in the world, ’cause it was bloody good. It was sexy, sultry and fun, but for some reason people tend to put artists like Toni in a box marked “90s artist” and there they’re destined to stay.
So it’s back to a ballad for single No.3 – the female empowerment song ‘Woman’.
And having possibly spent the entire ‘Pulse’ budget on the clip for ‘Make My Heart’, it’s a very simple studio set up this time around, with Toni belting the song out to camera. Lovely song – with a key change to boot.

I’m with Phil here, the track is amazing, and the album deserves to be huge! – Now if we can follow it up with a Lookin’ At Me/Wardrobe double – I’m happy :)

It’s actually a cover of Delta Goodrem’s song from her last album Delta! I have to say I prefer Toni’s version and it is a shame her album hasn’t done better as it’s really good!
