It seems everything old is new again over in the UK with two more classic PWL albums up for the deluxe repackage treatment later this year – and this time it’s Sonia (above) and Boy Krazy (below). Sonia and Boy Krazy are the latest in a long line of Stock Aitken Waterman albums that have been re-released in recent years. Things kicked off with Princess, Mandy Smith and Lonnie Gordon. Rick Astley’s PWL albums were re-released earlier this year, so too Big Fun’s ‘Pocketful Of Dreams’ and Jason Donovan’s albums ‘Ten Good Reasons’ and ‘Between The Lines’ will get a remix-laden two disc makeover early next month.
Sonia’s album ‘Everybody Knows’ expands to 18 tracks, featuring bonus remixes, b-sides and a demo of her big hit ‘You’ll Never Stop Me Loving You’.
The Boy Krazy album also expands – to 20 tracks, with two songs never before released on CD – ‘Exception To The Rule’ and ‘I’ll Never Get Another Chance Like This’, plus remixes and original versions.
Both Sonia and Boy Krazy’s album repacks will be in-stores in the UK in late September.
So now we beg the question… How much longer before Kylie’s first four albums get the two disc reworking? We hear discussions are already taking place.
