It’s becoming more and more difficult for touring companies to keep their tours secret these days. So in the latest of the worst kept secret tours to be finally announced, Michael Coppel has this morning announced that Irish supergroup U2 will indeed tour Australia in December with their spectacular 360º show.
Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Perth will all be treated to the stadium spectacular, with Perth set to experience its first U2 concert in 12 years.
U2’s manager Paul McGuinness assured Aussie audiences that we’ll be seeing the spectacular production in its entirety.
“It was important to the band that we were able to bring the whole 360° production to Australia and New Zealand so fans could experience the latest of U2’s legendary productions,” he said.
The show visits Auckland on November 25 before hitting Melbourne on Wednesday December 01.
Tickets for all shows are on sale on Friday September 03.
December 01 : Melbourne (Etihad Stadium)
December 08 : Brisbane (Suncorp Stadium)
December 13 : Sydney (ANZ Stadium)
December 18 : Perth (Subiaco Oval)

Hey Anonymous,
We haven’t done the auspOp radar for yonks simply because it’s too difficult for it to be 100% accurate, sadly.
We don’t want to be giving you a bum steer when it comes to forthcoming releases.
So the ‘Radar’ slid off our… um… radar…
