When we first heard that Aussie dance/pop artist Chris Sorbello had recorded a track called ‘Dangerzone’, we were immediately catapulted back to the heady days of the ’80s and the chart classic by Kenny Loggins. But salvation! It’s a different track altogether – and what it is instead is a storming electro number with plenty of ’80s vocal synths and spiky dance beats to keep the kids happy. Clip-wise, Chris has taken over the very plush Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Sydney and she’s on some kind of mission. And whether she’s doing the chasing or it’s her being chased… well you’ll have to watch to find out, but it’s highly stylised and rather well produced, with a sprinkling of animation thrown in to keep things more than interesting.
