It seems like an eternity ago that we first told you about this forthcoming deluxe tour edition of Adam Lambert’s fab debut Sony album ‘For Your Entertainment’, but it finally arrives with us next weekend in all its 18 track, bonus DVD glory.
Yes, to celebrate Adam’s visit to our shores next month, Sony Music has gone all out, delivering a smashing set of 18 tunes and a DVD that contains the video clips for the singles ‘Whataya Want From Me’, ‘If I Had You’ and ‘For Your Entertainment’.
It also features live performances from both AOL Sessions and Clear Channel – and this rather spectacular package will all head into stores locally on Friday October 01.

Hey Anonymous,
We’ve had no press release for the new Adam Lambert deluxe edition, unfortunately – we just went digging to get the guff from Sony.

Couldn’t agree more. Better to buy an import in the first place and get it all at once. (that’s if you can wait that long…LOL)we are talking @adamlambert here.

Press release please?

This album keeps growing on me – it’s just a brilliantly fun pop record.
Quick question: is Voodoo on the bonus track list? It’s one of his best songs and was a B-Side to “Whaddayawantfromme?” before being added to the iTunes album format.

I must say Anonymous I do agree that is frustrates me whenI buy an Album and they re-release them constantly with new tracks which of course I want. But you end up buying an album 3 times over. They want you to purchase music legally then continually do this. Er…that’s my 2 cents anyways…

Adam Lambert’s “For Your Entertainment” is a very good album, and I’d recommend to anyone who likes the singles to buy the album.
HOWEVER, this sort of behaviour is one of the reasons why record companies are alienating their customers – there is no valid reason why the three additional tracks (#Master Plan, #Down The Rabbit Hole, & #No Boundaries) couldn’t have been included on the original Australian release; as they did feature on other countries versions at the beginning. There is still one song missing from this release (#CantLetYouGo) that appeared on overseas versions. The record company is basically rewarding people who didn’t purchase it at the beginning, making it better not to buy albums when they first come out. There is no way, as a consumer, you can just get the DVD with the extra tracks if you already own the original CD, and it is wasteful to try to make people re-buy things they already have.
I find it an aggravating tactic which definitely does not endure record companies to me.
