Some of Adam Lambert’s local fans were half anticipating this, but news just through to the desk is that Chugg Entertainment has changed the venues for Adam Lambert’s forthcoming shows in both Sydney and Melbourne to cope with demand for tickets.
In Sydney, Adam will move to the slightly larger Enmore Theatre for his October 20 show, while in Melbourne, he’ll move to the larger Palais Theatre for the show on October 19.
And great news for those over the Tasman, with the singer finally announcing a New Zealand date to add to the three here in Australia – on Sunday October 17 at Trusts Stadium in Auckland.
The shows will all move to ‘all ages’ status too, meaning some of his fans who would have missed out ordinarily will now get the chance to see him live when he hits our shores next month.

Hey Todd,
All the details we have on exchange of tickets for the new Palais Theatre show are published in the comment section above.
We reckon it might be wise to give Ticketmaster a call directly so there’s no confusion.
We don’t want to give you a bum steer.

I purchased tickets to the Melbourne Palace Theatre show. I don’t have any ticketmaster outlets near me – do I now have to trek to the closest outlet, which is like an hour away? Or can I just show up on the night and get equivalent tickets? Also, if I have to go to an outlet and exchange tickets, can I do so prior to Monday at noon? Cheers.

ADAM LAMBERT
GLAM NATION TOUR STRIKES LIKE LIGHTNING AND GETS
BIGGER AND BETTER
Like a shock to the senses, Adam Lambert’s return to Australian shores has struck an electric chord
in fans across the east coast. Only a little over a week since the sell out of Lambert’s string of
Australian club shows, Chugg Entertainment are thrilled to announce that due to overwhelming
demand both Sydney & Melbourne shows are moving to bigger venues and the tour will now include
a performance in New Zealand.
The shows will kick off in New Zealand on Sunday 17th October at Auckland’s Trusts Stadium
before heading to Australia. The Melbourne show, still taking place on Tuesday 19th October, will
be moving to the Palais Theatre in St Kilda, and likewise the Sydney show will now take place at
the Enmore Theatre on the same date, Wednesday 20th October. Brisbane fans will still be able
to see Lambert on Friday 22nd October at The Tivoli
Since the announcement of these shows only weeks ago, the response from our Australian league
of Glamberts has been overwhelming. So much so that when the majority of tickets for shows were
snapped up during the pre-sales, conversations immediately began between promoters and
management about what arrangements could be made to reach out to more fans.
An artist in hot demand by not just his adult audience, Lambert’s throng of teenaged fans have been
busily lobbying for an all ages show, and with this move to theatres, fantastically that is what they
shall get. Tickets for both Sydney & Melbourne shows will now be available to fans of all ages.
All tickets purchased for the Metro Theatre show will be valid for General Admission Dance Floor
entry to the Enmore Theatre.
Existing General Admission ticket holders for the Palace Theatre will be allocated best available
Reserved Seating based on the order of purchase. Please note, these new tickets will not be
posted to patrons. Palace Theatre ticket holders will be required to go to any Ticketmaster outlet
and upon presentation of either the original Palace hard ticket, their Ticketmaster account number
and/or suitable identification will then be issued with their new Palais Theatre tickets.
Visit http://www.ticketmaster.com.au for locations and details of all Ticketmaster outlets. New ticket
allocations will be available from Monday 13th September, 12 noon.
Melding a fluid combination of showmanship, glam-pop stage presence and a flurry of glitter and
leather, this ex-American Idol has broken the mould of typecast characters and cemented his claim
as a bona-fide artist in his own right.
Do not miss your chance to see what everyone’s talking about.
