With the second season of the blood-sucking TV series ‘Vampire Diaries’ premiering on GO! channel this Monday night, the gang from EMI is wasting no time in announcing the local release of the soundtrack from the series.
The 16 track compile features exclusive recordings from some of the most exciting names in pop, including Bat For Lashes, Goldfrapp and Gorillaz, as well as others from Smashing Pumpkins and Howls.
All tracks on the disc were features in the first series of the show or will be heard throughout the second series.
The album’s official single is ‘Obsession’ by Portuguese/US singer Sky Ferreira.
