It’s been a heck of a long time coming, but fans of Aussie singer Robyn Loau have been finally rewarded for their patience, with the singer announcing that her brand new album ‘Only Human’ is now available on iTunes.
Described as “exploring themes of redemption, sexuality, school bullying, infidelity and gun control”, Robyn has worked with some famous names in Aussie pop on the record, including Cam McGlinchey, Josh Abrahams and even Robert Conley. As previously mentioned on auspOp, the album also includes a cover version of Kate Bush’s iconic ‘Wuthering Heights’.
Right now it’s the naughty, uncensored version of the LP which is up there for all to buy, but a cleaner more tamed down version of the LP will drop early in the new year to co-incide with Robyn’s performance at an Australia Day live event at Sydney’s Circular Quay.
Robyn will also drop a very limited edition physical copy of the LP to selected retail before Christmas.
In the meantime, check out a little behind the scenes footage of the album’s photoshoot HERE and grab your copy of Robyn’s fab new album HERE.

Thank you for this, without auspop blog, I’d have never know that the talent of Robyn that radio ignores has an album out.

Thank you auspOp, without you, I’d have never known this is out. Why can’t Oz radio get behind her?

I just listened to previews on iTunes the cover of Wuthering Heights is quite amazing didn’t know she could sing like that. The album is a little bit like Christina’s Bionic. Interesting though…I always liked Sick With Love in the day.
