Doesn’t matter how much you pretend you don’t, you just know that you want to go to this concert… Barry Manilow will make his long-awaited return to Australia in April next year for a series of concerts.
Dainty Consolidated made the announcement this morning, adding that this will be the first time that Barry has toured Australia since 1996.
As such, he’ll be playing all his classic tracks, including ‘Mandy’, ‘Looks Like We Made It’, ‘Could It Be Magic’, ‘I Write The Songs’ and the inimitable ‘Copacabana’.
“I’ll never forget the shows in Australia,” Manilow said in a statement. “The Australian people were so kind to me. I hated to leave. Please tell everyone I’ve still got my voice and my hair! I can’t wait to come back.”
Accompanying him for the tour will be some of Australia’s finest symphony orchestras.
