Hot on the heels of the release of her latest album ‘Memphis Blues’ here in Australia comes word that Cyndi Lauper will tour Australia from the end of March next year. She’ll perform dates in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and Newcastle, with two shows set down for Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Of course, this tour is all about the blues and the iconic songstress will be performing tracks from her latest LP ‘Memphis Blues’.
Tickets for all shows are on sale on Thursday November 25.

The Grammy nominations was announced last night in the US and Cyndi Lauper’s Memphis Blues has been nominated in the Best Traditional Blues Album Vocal or Instrumental category, this is Cyndi’s 14th nomination. Cyndi Lauper’s last album Bring Ya To The Brink was also nominated for a Grammy in 2009.

Nice, although sadly I don’t really like Blues but Cyndi Lauper is an icon. I recently saw Pat Benatar and she was incredible.
