It’s difficult to believe that even during their chart peak in Australia in the mid-1990s, when they clocked up top five chart successes with albums ‘Purple’ and ‘Tiny Music… Songs from the Vatican Gift Shop’, that the Stone Temple Pilots never toured Australia.
Well the fans have waited patiently, and now the team from Frontier Touring is rewarding that patience, announcing the Stone Temple Pilots’ first ever tour of Australia and New Zealand early in the new year.
The band will play Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Newcastle during their March visit, along with a show at Auckland’s Vector Arena.
Grinspoon will join the band for all Aussie dates bar Newcastle, with tickets for all on sale on Friday December 17.

March 23 : Brisbane (Riverstage)
