Brother and sister act Same Difference haven’t let their previous single’s No.100 UK chart position dampen their bright, bubbly spirits, announcing that their second album ‘The Rest Is History’ will be released in the UK next month.
After bowing out of the 2007 version of Britain’s X Factor and lowly-charting debut single (‘We R One’) and album (‘Pop’) released through Simon Cowell’s label Syco, Sean and Sarah were dropped from Syco and subsequently signed with PopLife Records.
After their latest single ‘Shine On Forever (Photo Frame)’ flopped into the UK top 100 at No.100, the band went straight back into the studio to come up with a fab collection of 12 pop ditties that will have your teeth decaying in no time.
Same Difference has worked with some of pop’s biggest names on the new LP, including Topham & Twigg (Steps, Tina Cousins, Ellie Campbell), Pete Hammond, Ian Curnow and Pete Waterman Jnr (PWL fans will know those names).
But excitingly, they’ve also teamed up with Sweden’s Alcazar on a track called ‘Karma Karma’.
A free album teaser is available by signing up the mailing list via their OFFICIAL WEBSITE.
No word on whether or not the album will get a local release, but it’s out in the UK on February 07.
