Slowly but surely 22 year old Jessie J is making the world sit up and take notice. Her debut single ‘Do It Like A Dude’ stalled at Australian radio and subsequently in the local charts, where it peaked at No.76.
But undeterred, Universal Music is pushing on with the Jessie J project, servicing her brand new single ‘Price Tag’ to radio earlier tonight.
Featuring a guest spot by B.o.B., the track spent two weeks atop the UK singles chart, and sold more than 84,000 copies there in its first week on sale. In the US, the single is now beginning to impact on the Billboard chart, but can Jessie become the hottest new thing to hit Australia?
With a little hard work from her local record company, time will tell.
Jessie’s debut album ‘Who You Are’ hits stores this Friday.

It’s about time! And also, this means that they won’t release the digital single to iTunes right, because people will be able to buy it individually from the album this Friday?
