Over the past year, Sydney electro-pop singer Nick Pes (left) has been quietly developing a solid following on the local live circuit over the past couple of years for his edgy, well-produced tunes and his captivating live performances.
Following on from the release of his track ‘Find Love’ in July last year (cop a listen HERE), he released the critically acclaimed ‘Cinaesthesia’ EP and performed at both the Sydney Apple Store and at the Hot Rod dance party in Sydney.
But it’s his latest track, a cover version of Kylie Minogue’s 2002 single ‘Come Into My World’, that (with tickets to Kylie’s concert on sale tomorrow) has been unveiled at totally the right time.
Less frenetic and polished than the original, Nick’s version drags the track into synthesised ’80s territory for a rather impressive result.
Great to hear the track sung by a male too. Check it below and discover more about Nick HERE.
