Aussie pop songstress Jessica Mauboy (left) has confirmed to auspOp that plans are well advanced for a repackage of her latest album ‘Get Em Girls’. The album, already a top ten success, has so far spawned the singles ‘Get Em Girls’, the double platinum smash ‘Saturday Night’ and the new tune ‘What Happened To Us’ with Jay Sean.
In an interview with auspOp to be published in the coming days, Jessica tells us, “We might be doing a re-package, which is really cool. All new photos.”
Jess also tells us to expect “many more” singles to be released from the LP and that she’s been back in the studio working on new material to be added to the reworked edition.
As for the timing of the repackaged release, she tells us, “Before Christmas would be lovely. It really depends.”
Keep you eyes peeled for our full interview with Jess this week.

Well, for Anonymous 2, I have seen her twice in concert, and she stayed back and chatted with fans for going on an hour. Both free concerts.
She was amazing, both as a live performer and as a ‘popstar’ that appreciates her fans.
And I agree with Anonymous 2, “The Scariest Part” is the best moment on the album for me and should be a single, and “The Maze” is very radio friendly also.
I am a proud fan!

I hope you asked her why she insists on lying about writing so many of the songs on her album. I have heard her claim co writes on all three singles she has released from it so far in numerous interviews (even going into detail about how she wrote them) and according to the writing credits on the album she had nothing at all to do with writing any of them. She has co-write credits (along with zillions of other writers) on only four of the songs on the album, none of which have so far been released as singles, and yet she consistantly lies about her imput. She is just a fake manufactured pop star as far as I am concerned. And Australia is beginning to realise that. Probably one of the reasons the album is sitting at #84 on the ARIA Chart this week, likely still a fair bit short in actual sales of the gold certification it has been awarded.

jessica mauboy is a rude bi-ach. she performs for her fans then refuses to sign cd’s cause she’s ‘too busy’, too busy for what? performing a free concert? as a fan this is horrible news and i lost all faith in her.

The album artwork is shocking. The music is okay but with 15 songs it does start to sound the same. Saturday Night was the best upbeat tune but Scariest Part deserves to be a single as does The Maze.
If it is gonna be close to Christmas I would think just create a new album entirely.
