Yep, you read right. Nine years after one of Australia’s most beloved pop outfits went their separate ways, the Bachelor Girl bus is ready to ride again – with a brand new best-of for Sony Music, a new Facebook page and a three date ‘best of’ tour.
Bachelor Girl (Tania Doko and James Roche) are best known for their 1998 debut hit single ‘Buses And Trains’ (which was the most played song on Australian radio at the time), and the forthcoming best-of will no longer be included in Sony’s fab ‘Essentials’ range, but will be a stand-alone greatest hits release called ‘Loved & Lost – The Best of Bachelor Girl’ which will include the singles, highlight tracks from the two albums ‘Waiting For The Day’ and ‘Dysfunctional’, plus four tracks from the band’s never-released third album.
Tania and James have also created a Facebook page so that their legion of fans can keep up with latest developments with the band.
‘Loved & Lost – The Best of Bachelor Girl’ will hit stores on Friday April 15.
