Here’s a blast from the past! Throughout the mid 1990s, Direction In Groove was the ultimate in Aussie jazz/groove fusion, releasing critically acclaimed platinum selling albums ‘Dig Deeper’ and ‘Speakeasy’.
It’s been eight long years since D.I.G. hit the stage for a series of shows, but the wait is over, with the band hitting the stage this Thursday, Friday and Saturday, along with a show next week in Cronulla and a gig at The Basement on Friday May 20.
The Basement gig will also celebrate the band’s 20th anniversary.
In further exciting news for fans, the band is also working on new material, with vocalist Scott Saunders saying “DIG are back! We’ve been in the studio writing and recording our new album and we are very excited about the new direction – and we can’t wait to get back on the live stage. It’s going to be a big year for DIG.”
