• Warner Music has announced that they’ll release the brand new album from Fleetwood Mac songstress Stevie Nicks early next month. ‘In Your Dreams’ is the singer’s first solo studio album since 2001’s ‘Trouble In Shangri-La’ and is due to hit Australian retail on Friday May 06.
• With their first show at the venue already sold out, the boys from Bliss N Eso have announced a second show at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion. They’ll now also play the Hordern on Friday May 27, the night prior to their sell-out show, with tickets for the new date on sale on Monday April 11.

• New Zealand outfit Katchafire has announced Australian live dates. The reggae/roots outfit will kick the tour off at the Uni Bar in Wollongong on June 23 before visiting Sydney, Byron Bay, Cairns, Frankston, Melbourne, Southport and Caloundra. All the guff over at www.katchafire.co.nz.
• The new Alex Metric/Steve Angello dancefloor anthem ‘Open Your Eyes’, which features the vocals of indie legend Ian Brown, will be released digitally on Friday April 08. A remix bundle will follow on Friday April 29.
• Sony Music has officially serviced the new single from former Australia’s Got Talent wunderkinds Justice Crew. The dance troupe-cum-recording artists have roped in Flo Rida for the new single called ‘Dance With Me’. It’s also now available on the Aussie iTunes store.
• With recent events in Japan pulling focus over the past couple of weeks, it’s easy to forget that the people of Christchurch are still struggling to come to terms with the after-effects of February’s catastrophic 6.3 magnitude earthquake which killed more than 165 people. But the girls from X Factor quartet Mahogany certainly haven’t forgotten – they’ve recorded a single called ‘New Zealand (My Home Town)’ which will raise money for the earthquake appeal. • It had to happen sooner or later – Lady Gaga has finally lost her grip on the No.1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, surrendering it to Katy Perry’s latest single ‘E.T.’. Even Rihanna and Cee Lo Green leapfrog Gaga as she drops to No.4. In at No.6 is the new Wiz Khalifa single ‘No Sleep’, while Jennifer Lopez moves back into the top ten with her all-conquering new single ‘On The Floor’.
• And on the US albums chart this week, Chris Brown has hit the top spot first week in with his new album ‘F.A.M.E.’. He beat off stiff competition from Jennifer Hudson, whose new album ‘I Remember Me’ debuted in the No.2 spot. There were debuts too in positions 4, 5, 6, 7, and 9 from The Strokes, Kirk Franklin, the Songs For Japan compilation, Panic At The Disco and Bobby V.
