Colour us completely confused. Universal Music’s latest release schedule (snippet below), sent through to media just two days ago, stated that Nicole Scherzinger’s album ‘Killer Love’ would be released exclusively to JB Hifi stores.
Not 48 hours later, however, it’s sadly gone again – erased from the Aussie schedule and consigned to the ‘TBA’ ether.
Hopefully by the time it does get an Aussie release, her local fans haven’t already brought it into the country from places like the UK where it’s been out for weeks – or worse.

Hey ScoobySnax,
We reckon the success of ‘Don’t Hold Your Breath’ took Universal Australia completely by surprise. The Nova network added the song due to its chart success in the UK (whenever does THAT happen these days) and Universal were forced to act, servicing it to all radio in the week following.

I bought also this from Amazon UK a while ago. Excellent album.
‘Don’t Hold Your Breath’ is a grower & I don’t think they’re pushing it enough here in Oz. Very lazy marketing as far as Nicole is concerned. Strangely a lot of people don’t seem to be associating her with the Pussycats, which I think the label are/were banking on … oh well!!

I think Anonymous #1 is right. Being record labels, they’re waiting for the BIG hit. THEN they’ll give you a release date. Look at J.Lo’s, had On The Floor not been as big as it was it’d be one of those albums pushed back to infinity if not pushed back and shelved..

Hey Anonymous #2,
Yes, it’s a shame. We ordered it from Amazon UK and it was delivered to our PO Box for $17.

Disappointing but they are probably waiting for DHYB to be a bigger hit.
