Aussie singer Zoë Badwi has had a rather remarkable run of success; Her debut single ‘Release Me’ was a massive club smash resulting in record deals across Europe, its successor ‘Freefallin’ was a top ten Aussie hit and is about to be launched on the other side of the world and her third single ‘Accidents Happen’ has also performed well on the club chart.
Zoë’s latest appearance on the Aussie music scene is as a guest vocalist on the new Grant Smillie single ‘Carry Me Home’, which was serviced to DJs late yesterday.
However, since our original post went live overnight, we’ve learned that when the track is serviced to radio in its original radio edit guise (presumably later this month), ‘Carry Me Home’ will be badged as ‘Zoe Badwi & Grant Smillie’.
The remixes, courtesy of Tommy Trash, Third Party and Hard Rock Sofa, drop at Beatport on Friday May 13, with a commercial single release penned in for June 03.
Our contact also confimed with us that should this single take off at radio land, they’ll “push to get the album out in June”.
