Damn girl! How hot does the repackage for Jessica Mauboy’s latest album ‘Get Em Girls’ look!?
Featuring all-new artwork and a reworked tracklisting that includes seven brand new songs, including the new single ‘Inescapable’, it looks fifteen times better than the original, which was tepidly received late last year.
There are remixes of the singles ‘Saturday Night’ and ‘What Happened To Us’, along with the duet with Stan Walker (which we’d been mentioning on the site) called ‘Galaxy’.
The deluxe edition of Jess’s album will hit the stores on Friday August 12.

Why take off the first single just because it didn’t perform to expectations? How can you call the album Get ‘Em Girls and not have the track on it? Such a strange arrangement, I would have preferred the standard tracklisting and then the extra songs on a new disc. Kind of sad that 2 of the ‘new’ songs are actually bonus tracks we’ve had for a long time also. Poor effort, Sony.

Hey team,
The seven tracks we listed (above) are those Sony are touting as ‘new songs’ for this release.

I’m glad Scariest Part & Maze stay on Disc 1 as they are the strongest. I hope she found some better songs.
I think besides the horrid artwork the album sounded the same and by Track 15 you were left unimpressed.
I think this will bring her back. Look forward to hearing Stan Walker duet.
The artwork is much better!
I can’t wait.

‘Not Me’ and ‘Forget Your Name’ aren’t technically new tracks, they were bonus tracks from the original Get ‘Em Girls.
SO glad ‘Nobody Knows’ is included though. I’ve had the leak for that for quite a while, fan favourite!

What?! So the original Get ‘Em Girls single with Snoop is completely gone but there are three versions of Saturday Night?! This is very odd. But yes, very nice cover.

Not Me isn’t a new track, it was a bonus track on the last album.

… but Forget Your Name was on the last album with the atrocious cover…
Funny how they haven’t included the regular flop version of Get ‘Em Girls on this version. All that money wasted on Snoop Dogg.

If I’m not mistaken Not Me was an iTunes bonus track on the original?
Michael says
It’s only really 5 ‘new’ tracks as Forget Your Name was a bonus track on the original version, while Not Me was an itunes album track. However still looking forward to buying this. :)

You have her new single in the story as “Irreplaceable”, I think nothing else needs to be said in terms of rectifying the problem. :)

What are the 7 new tracks. I only count 6 of them?. Glad most of my favourites are on disc 1, that hopefully means future single potential (Like Tis and Scariest Part, even Maze)

Nice album cover :)
Odd arrangement of the tracks over two discs though, but should be a good buy :)
