• The gang from Warner Music chose a Saturday morning to give Australian media a sneak listen to the new Red Hot Chili Peppers single. • EMI will release a new version of Roxette’s best-of in a couple of weeks time. The tour edition CD/DVD package of ‘Hits’ will be made available to Australian retail on Friday August 05.
• Another new release added to the EMI schedule this week is the new album by US rock group Evanescence. According to some reports, the album is to be self-titled, but this is yet to be confirmed by EMI Australia. It is, however, in the schedule for an October 07 release.
• Joss Stone’s best-of ‘Super Duper Hits’ has been delayed yet again. The compilation album was to be released next month following her defection to the Universal Music camp, but is now slated for a September 23 release.• British singer Nerina Pallot has revealed that the second single from her most recent album ‘Year Of The Wolf’ is called ‘Turn Me On Again’ (pictured). It’s the follow-up to the gorgeous lead tune ‘Put Your Hands Up’ and will be released digitally in Britain midway through next month. No word on an Aussie release.
• Sydney singer Matt Corby has been announced as the support act for Elbow’s forthcoming live dates here in Australia. He’ll play the role at the band’s two Melbourne gigs (July 27 and 28) and their gig at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney on July 29.
• Friday seemed to be the day for new releases to radio this week, with Jennifer Lopez’ new tune ‘Papi’ being serviced along with Madcon’s ‘Beggin’, Blink 182’s ‘Up All Night’ and the new Dead Letter Circus track ‘Reaction’.
• LMFAO continues their reign atop the US singles chart with their mammoth hit ‘Party Rock Anthem’; the top six remaining unchanged this week and the highest new entry is all the way down at No.82 – Frank Ocean’s ‘Novacane’.
• And on the US album chart, Beyonce holds firm for a second week in the top spot with her album ‘4’. Adele spends her 20th week in the US charts at No.2 with her album ’21’ while Lloyd’s album ‘King Of Hearts’ is in at No.10 on debut.

Hey echo123,
We have no idea where that’s come from, to be honest. Looking through Warner’s recent releases, they’ve only sampled the album.
Deleting as we speak…
