A number of people have questioned us as to whether we’d got the No.1 Most Added track to Aussie radio correct this week – Jessie J’s latest single ‘Domino’.
The answer is 100% yes – we’re not into publishing rumours here at auspOp. ‘Domino’, produced by Dr.Luke, is serving as the new single here in Australia, despite the fact that the track didn’t appear on her debut album ‘Who You Are’. It will also reportedly serve as the second single in the United States.
The British singer has experienced decent success here in Australia, with the album going gold, the single ‘Price Tag’ hitting an amazing four times platinum (over 280,000 copies) and its follow-up ‘Nobody’s Perfect’ hitting platinum (70,000 copies).
‘Domino’ is set to be released digitally this Friday.

Also, Nicki Minaj’s Girls Fall Like Dominoes (which actually managed to chart here at #99) isnt even on the deluxe edition of her album.
I’ve heard Who’s Laughing Now on the radio, shame it wont be a single here.

Hey Josh,
There’s nothing about an updated version of Jessie’s album on the local schedule for the time being, but if that changes in the weeks ahead, you’ll find it on our new release schedule, published at 9am AEST on Thursdays.

Record companies seem so unorganized these days, releasing singles that aren’t even on the albums they have out, mid-era. This has been happening a lot lately (see: Nicki Minaj; ‘Super Bass’ isn’t even on the standard edition of her album and is her biggest solo hit, and Enrique, who released ‘Tonight’ then only tacked the song onto the album with no other new material MONTHS later). Feels like they have no idea what they’re doing, and are just pushing random songs until something does well, without a plan involved at all?
In saying that, is there any news of plans for a re-release of ‘Who You Are’ so that the release and likely success of ‘Domino’ will actually result in some form of further album sales for Jessie J?

Well done Universal. Glad they are actually pushing a song on time for once. Not waiting 2 months later, like usual.
