We’ve had a massive soft spot for Melbourne singer songwriter Kate Vigo since we first introduced you to her cute-as-a-button single ‘The Way You Are’ two and a half years ago. Since then she’s come along in leaps and bounds – winning countless awards, including the Best Video for ‘The Way You Are’ at the MusicOz Awards in Sydney last year.
So she’s once again teamed up with the aforementioned video’s director (Kess Broekman-Dattner) for the new clip – and results are also rather beautiful, despite the fact that she misses the whole damn thing by deciding to take a nap on the set.
Using projections upon a bare well, Kate’s dreams are haunted by a series of eerie hands and figures that caress her while she sleeps. They get more and more spectacular as the night progresses before she wakes up beside her Noddy alarm clock a smidge before 6:30 totally oblivious to the colourful ghostly apparitions that have visited her throughout the night.
Surely it can’t belong before Ms Vigo is signed?
