Totally agree Anonymous…Almost the song of the year, yet it sounds a little unconventional, so dirty filthy commercial radio cower away from it. But it’s popularity will surely force their hands mwahahahaha!

Hey Anonymous,
Commercial radio is notoriously slow to reach, sadly, especially to Australian music that doesn’t fit in with their current sound.
That said, the song debuted at No.80 this week on Australian radio’s most played songs chart and if it maintains its heading on the official charts, pretty soon radio’s going to have no choice but to play it.

Why on Earth aren’t radio stations supporting Gotye?? “Somebody That I Used To Know” is a brilliant track and it’s been #1 at iTunes for days now – word of mouth must be a powerful thing! I’m sure that JJJ etc. are supporting it, but it deserves to be a commercial radio smash, too. I work with kids and they all love it!
