He ran away with the Australia’s Got Talent title a couple of weeks back, immediately signed to Sony Music, released his debut single ‘Yes I Am’ and subsequently scored himself a top 40 hit. Yes indeed, the 14 year old vocal wonder has plenty to smile about these days – and he’ll be sharing the love with his public when he hits the hustings over the next couple of weeks to promote his upcoming debut album. The promotion kicks off tonight at 7:30pm with an appearance at Ekka in Brisbane.
The self-titled set (pictured) will be released on Friday. It contains some of the tracks that made him an audience favourite on the show (including his version of Whitney’s ‘I Have Nothing’ and Jennifer Holliday’s 1982 classic ‘And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going’), along with a trio of originals.
