Tickets only went on sale this morning for the forthcoming Aussie tour for Liverpool-based outfit The Wombats, but already, tickets have sold so strongly that organisers have been forced to move the Brisbane concert to a larger venue.
Originally slated to play The Arena in the Queensland capital on October 13, the band will now play the larger Riverstage after the original venue sold out within hours of going on sale.
Additional tickets for the new Riverstage show are now on sale.
Support for all dates will be provided by Aussie outfit Faker and Melbourne songstress Owl Eyes.
Tour organisers have hinted late this afternoon that the series of shows looks like being a complete sell-out.
