The gang from Architecture In Helsinki launched a competition last month, aimed at getting budding remix artists from across the country to remix their latest single ‘Escapee’.
Fans were asked to download parts from the band’s Soundcloud page and come up with their own interpretation of the track – the latest single to be lifted from their album ‘Moment Bends’.
The winner was Frames – also known as Sydney producer Andrew Boon.
But the competition was so fierce that the band also had to tip their lid to three other amazing artists, each of whom impressed with their entries; Nostalgia (21 year old Dutch producer Andrew Verschuren), Melbourne’s Indian Summer DJs and finally Malory – hailing from the Bordeaux Region in France.
Brilliantly, you can now download each of the winning entries from the band’s SOUNDCLOUD page.

Hey Anonymous,
There isn’t any word on an iTunes release – but given they’re all available as free downloads from the band’s Soundcloud page, why would you want to pay for them instead? Curious.

Any idea when Australian iTunes will get the remixes?
