The ‘She Will Have Her Way’ and ‘He Will Have His Way’ compilations were among some of the most celebrated in our country’s history, with some of Australia’s best and brightest talent coming together to celebrate the works of the brothers Finn.
The 2005 LP ‘She Will Have Her Way’ brought us breathtaking cover versions of classic tracks such as ‘Fall At Your Feet’, ‘Six Months In A Leaky Boat’ and ‘Distant Sun’, while 2010’s ‘He Will Have His Way’ saw covers performed by the likes of Boy & Bear, Paul Dempsey and Darren Hayes.
Now comes news that there will be a collaborative release entitled ‘They Will Have Their Way’, to co-incide with the previously announced national tour.
The new version will be released late next month and also features four new recordings; Seeker Lover Keeper’s version of ‘Sinner’, Hollie Smith on ‘Weather With You’, Lior & Emma Louise covering ‘It’s Only Natural’ and Old Man River teaming up with Washington for ‘Dirty Creature’.
‘They Will Have Their Way’ will be released on Friday October 28. Full tracklist in the comments section below.
