We were wondering when Universal would announce a local release for the forthcoming Christmas album for teen megastar Justin Bieber…
But that’s just what they’ve done this morning, confirming that JB’s first festive collection ‘Under The Mistletoe’ will be released later this month.
The LP brings together a selection of your Christmas favourites, along with new festive tracks, mostly co-written by Justin himself.
Lead single ‘Mistletoe’ will hit globally on Tuesday week (October 18), with a video (shot in Tennessee) due to debut around the same time.
There are duets with Usher (‘The Christmas Song’), Boyz II Men (‘Fa La La’) and Busta Rhymes (‘Drummer Boy’), but the singer also duets with Mariah Carey on her international festive smash ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’.
The album will be released in standard and deluxe editions – the latter containing a DVD and four extra tracks.
And with hundreds of thousands of Beliebers across the country, ‘Under The Mistletoe’ is expected to be in stockings across the country after its release on Friday October 28.
