He was due to touch down on Australian soil in just over a week’s time for shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth, but touring agent Dainty has late this afternoon dropped some bad news on fans of UK tenor Russell Watson.
His concerts, due to kick off at Perth’s Burswood Theatre tomorrow week, have been postponed until February next year due to what Dainty is calling a “scheduling conflict”.
Perth patrons’ tickets will be valid for the new date, while those attending the shows in Sydney and Melbourne will have their tickets re-issued for the new dates and venues.
February 23 : Melbourne (Regent Theatre – rescheduled from November 14 @ Plenary Hall)
February 26 : Sydney (Opera House – rescheduled from November 12 @ State Theatre)
February 28 : Perth (Burswood Theatre – rescheduled from November 08)
