It’s been a heck of a long time coming, but ladies and gents, Ricki-Lee is back – with a brand new single on a brand new label and a brand new beginning to her music career.
It’s been almost two years since her latest music release – ‘Hear No, See No, Speak No’ – which was the second single and title track of her never released third album.
But now with new home EMI, the singer’s never looked – or sounded better on her new single ‘Raining Diamonds’ (pictured).
The track was co-written by Ricki-Lee and Billy Mann (whose previous body of work includes singles for Anastacia, Backstreet Boys and more) and Ricki-Lee is undoubtedly excited about its release.
“It’s absolutely, without a doubt, the best music I’ve ever made… I know everyone says that – but I’ve never said that – honestly this is the truest representation of who I am,” she said in a statement.
“Raining Diamonds is all about knowing your value and not settling for less than what you believe you are worth and I feel like I am living proof of that. If you believe in something you can have it. You just have to back yourself 100% percent and don’t rest until you get there. I feel like I’m more in touch with myself than I ever have been and that has helped me paint a clear picture in my mind of what I want and helped me get there.”
‘Raining Diamonds’ is available at iTunes now.
