How desperately gorgeous is the new single from Aussie songstress Ngaiire? Pop peeps might remember the singer from her appearance on the Paul Mac single ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You’ back in 2006. Alternative types may have recognised the name from Triple J’s list of Next Crop artists at the end of 2010.
However you know her, you’re bound to be spellbound by this new single, which will hit digital retail this week.
Containing bass, drums, ukulele and even glockenspiel, ‘Filthy’ is intimate, warm and utterly beguiling.
But through all the gorgeous instrumentation, it’s that awesome, raw, captivating voice that shines through.
‘Filthy’ will be released this Friday, with an album to come in April next year.

Not a bad song :) I loved Ngaiire when she was on Australian Idol and met her at an airport once, she was really nice :)
