• We promised one of our dedicated readers that as soon as Universal Music serviced the new Snow Patrol single ‘This Isn’t Everything You Are’ to Australian media that we’d have it here live on the site. So voila!!! The track, the second from the band’s forthcoming album ‘Fallen Empires’, was one of a number of new tracks serviced to Australian media this week.
• Also out there are Iyaz’ previously mentioned new single ‘Pretty Girls’, Bruno Mars’ new single ‘Count On Me’, Nero’s ‘Crush’, Avicii’s cool new dance tune ‘Levels’ and Evanescence’s new track ‘My Heart is Broken’.
• Guy Sebastian fans are no doubt counting down the days until the release of the singer’s new single. Entitled ‘Don’t Worry Be Happy’ (a cover of the Bobby McFerrin track?), the single is on the Sony release schedule for a digital release on Friday November 18.
• EMI will keep Australia’s Roxette fans satiated before their visit early next year. They’re releasing the ‘Revisited’ version of their album ‘Charm School’ here on December 02. The new version comes complete with demo versions, along with remixes of their single ‘ She’s Got Nothing On (But The Radio)’.• Fans of British singer Leona Lewis will have to wait quite a while longer to get their mitts on her forthcoming album ‘Glassheart’ (pictured). The album, which was originally slated for a UK release later this month, has now been delayed until late March, presumably for her record company to bed down another track at radio.
• Leona’s not the only one experiencing delays with her latest project – Universal’s latest release schedule has revealed that the forthcoming ‘Progress Live’ album and DVD from Take That have been delayed in Australia and now won’t arrive into stores until early December.
• A quick reminder that you really ought to take the time to go and ‘like’ us over on our FACEBOOK page. Thanks to Groupon, there’s ONE very good reason to do so this week.
• US outfit My Morning Jacket has announced they’ll visit our shores in April next year for a duo of live shows. They’ll play Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on April 03 and Melbourne’s Palace Theatre on April 04. Tickets for both are on sale now.• On the UK singles chart this week, Professor Green stays put in the No.1 spot with his latest single ‘Read All About It’, Rihanna and Calvin Harris are up one spot to No.2 and the highest debut for the week comes courtesy of Cher Lloyd and Mike Posner with their new track ‘With UR Love’ – popping in at No.4. Ed Sheeran’s ‘Lego House’ enjoyed a little surge into the top ten, so too David Guetta’s latest track with Usher – ‘Without You’.
• And on the British album chart, Florence & The Machine have taken the lead from Australia and have debuted at No.1 in their homeland with their new long player ‘Ceremonials’. Professor Green’s album ‘At Your Convenience’ debuts in the No.3 position, with last week’s No.1 from Coldplay sandwiched firmly in between. Alfie Boe’s album ‘Alfie’ debuts at No.6 and further top ten entries come courtesy of Rizzle Kicks (No.9) and Manic Street Preachers (No.10).

The Guy Sebastian song is not a cover of Bobby McFerrin’s “Don’t Worry Be Happy” auspOp. It is an original song with the same.

Hey popmusicity,
Not sure if it was you or not!
There’s no mention of a digital single release on Universal’s release schedule yet, but there’s a ringtone coming on November 14 (next Monday), with the album to follow that Friday.
