UK outfit Goldfrapp were out cutting their electro-pop teeth years ago; some say they were way ahead of the trend – way before their time.
Now the team at EMI is ready to have a look back at their amazing body of work with a brand new retrospective entitled ‘The Singles’.
As such, there are 12 of the usual suspects – corking tracks like ‘Strict Machine’ and ‘Ooh La La’, the more wistful ‘Utopia’ and ‘A&E’, recent singles ‘Rocket’ and ‘Believer’. There are also two new tracks entitled ‘Yellow Halo’ and ‘Melancholy Sky’ for the purists to get their teeth stuck into, making for a total of 14 tracks in all.
‘Goldfrapp : The Singles’ is due for release in Australia on Friday February 03.
