WHAM! : Last Christmas
In the classic Christmas song stakes, there doesn’t come much bigger and more iconic than Wham!’s 1984 stunner ‘Last Christmas’. Since covered by everyone from Taylor Swift to Crazy Frog, Billie Piper to Ashley Tisdale, Whigfield, Alcazar, Atomic Kitten and this year by Joe McElderry, the track is a staple of the festive season each year.
The clip follows a group of friends, spending their Christmas in a log cabin, high upon the snowy slopes, enjoying each others company at dinner, throwing snowballs, popping up the Christmas tree, while George pines (not an arbour analogy) for his lost love. Aww.
