The gang behind iconic Aussie movies such as The Castle and The Dish, along with TV hits The Late Show, The Panel and Thank God You’re Here are about to unleash their brand new film entitled ‘Any Questions For Ben?’.
The film revolves around Ben (played by Josh Lawson) who starts to contemplate whether it IS indeed possible to have a midlife crisis at the ripe old age of… 27.
Suffice to say, early indications are that the movie will be a hoot. But we’re not here to talk movies… NO! We’re here to talk music, so thankfully the love Jane Kennedy from the Working Dog team has compiled the two disc soundtrack, which is set to hit stores just days before the movie opens in cinemas.
Spread across the two disc, 30 track set are a host of great Aussie numbers, including some of our pop favourites from Zoë Badwi (‘Freefallin’) and Silverchair (‘Straight Lines’), along with tracks from Marvin Priest, Angus & Julia Stone, Cassie Davis, Thirsty Merc, Powderfinger, Pete Murray, John Butler Trio and many more.
There are also international gems including Janelle Monae’s criminally ignored ‘Tightrope’ and the wistful ‘Dream Catch Me’ from Newton Faulkner.
‘Any Questions For Ben?’ opens in cinemas nationally on Thursday February 09, with the soundtrack in the shops on Friday February 03.
