A couple of pieces of great news for Adelaide hip hoppers Hilltop Hoods has come across the auspOp desk tonight; firstly, their latest single ‘I Love It’, featuring the vocals of fellow Adelaide performer Sia, has been certified platinum for sales of more than 70,000 copies.
Further to that, however, is the news that the band has just been signed by Fontana Records in the United States to release their upcoming album ‘Drinking From The Sun’, along with their previous catalogue, stateside.
‘I Love It’ will kick off the US action when it’s released digitally there tomorrow.
Meantime, here in Australia, ‘Drinking In The Sun’ will be released into stores on Friday March 09.
