WHITNEY HOUSTON : I Look To You
At a time where we reflect upon Whitney Houston’s legacy and everything she did in her career, this song signaled a comeback of sorts of The Voice. While not back to the crisp clarity we originally fell in love with back in the 80’s and early 90’s, the huskiness and maturity that comes through lends itself to the the subjects of these songs. Always an inspriation to me, this song was released when I was on my own in a country far away from home and reminded me of the strength I had in less obvious places. Whitney is one of kind and she will be greatly missed.
