First came Perth, then came a trio of shows in Sydney and just last week, Tina Arena announced that she would be performing at Melbourne’s Hamer Hall as part of the venue’s re-opening after it’s $128 million redevelopment.
Now comes news that, despite a promise that there would be one show only in her home town, tickets are selling so well for the first show that she’s decided to add a second Melbourne date to cope with demand.
She’ll be accompanied on both dates by a 54 piece orchestra as she performs her hit single ‘Chains’ along with others from her ‘Songs Of Love & Loss’ series.
The new show is scheduled for Sunday July 29 at the same venue – and tickets are on sale at 9am today.
Tina is back on Aussie soil as part of the judging panel on Channel 10’s revamped ‘Young Talent Time’.
