We reckon this announcement is going to disappoint some of Seal’s most loyal fans, especially since the originally scheduled start of his tour is now just three days away.
But due to “conflicts with Seal’s international and Australian work schedule”, Dainty Group has had no option but to postpone the tour until April.
The singer himself has moved quickly to apologise for the unexpected delay.
“I’m so excited to be going back and forth to Australia over the coming 5 months filming The Voice and touring,” he said. “I’m really sorry we’ve had to move the dates, but hopefully it hasn’t put anyone out, and we’ll just make sure the shows are even better to make up for it!”
There have been a couple of changes besides the dates – specifically for the venues in both Melbourne and Canberra, where those holding tickets will be contacted shortly with details of the ticket exchange process. Extra tickets will now be available for both shows – and will be on sale this Friday.
Ticketholders in Sydney, Perth and Adelaide can use their existing tickets for the newly-scheduled shows.
Good news for the fine people of the Gold Coast, however, with news that Seal will add a new date there, details of which will be forthcoming soon.
