Firstly Australia’s One Direction fandom hounded their local record company Sony Music to release their music here in Australia, then they created a top ten hit for the boys with their debut single ‘What Makes You Beautiful’, then they gave the lads a top five placing with their album ‘Up All Night’.
Rumblings have been getting louder over the past few weeks about an impending visit from the band and now it’s all been confirmed – One Direction will visit Australia in April and play three shows – one each in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
To celebrate the visit, Sony will also release a new version of the album entitled ‘The Souvenir Edition’, which will contain five extra tracks, a 32 page fan booklet and five photocards.
Tickets for the three shows are on sale on Friday March 02, while the ‘Up All Night : Souvenir Edition’ will be released on March 16.
April 13 : Sydney (Hordern Pavilion)
April 16 : Melbourne (Hisense Arena)
April 18 : Brisbane (Convention Centre)
* Stay tuned next week – we’re launching a little One Direction competition that we just KNOW will rock your socks off and keep you ‘Up All Night’!
