You may or may not be aware that Australia’s own PNAU (that’d be Nick Littlemore and Peter Mayes) have been working with legendary performer Sir Elton John of late, lending their extraordinary dance music and remixing talents to recreate and rework some of Elton’s back catalogue.
The first track from the collaboration has now seen the light of day. Entitled ‘Good Morning To The Night’, the track reworks the singer’s 1972 track ‘Mona Lisas And Mad Hatters’, lifted from his album ‘Honky Château’.
And it’s a pretty good thing too. The one line repeated over and over again doesn’t sound like it’d make much sense, but with Pnau’s almost ethereal synths leading the way, it totally works.
The new Elton/Pnau collaboration album is set to be released later this year. You can ‘Like’ the project on Facebook HERE, as we have.
