Well hasn’t this one just taken our breath away? Revealed on her Facebook page just before midnight on the east coast, this is the cover image for Melody Gardot’s brand new album ‘The Absence’.
The album follows up 2009’s sublime ‘My One And Only Thrill’, which spawned the alluring single ‘Baby I’m A Fool’. It remains one of our favourite albums from the past decade.
So a new album announcement is very exciting indeed.
Though there’s been nothing from Universal Music locally about the new album so far, it’s expected ‘The Absence’ will hit Australia on Friday May 25.
