We brought you the story of Florence & The Machine’s forthcoming live album a couple of weeks back here on the site – before local label Universal Music had even revealed it on their schedule.
Now all is set in stone and the release of ‘MTV Unplugged’ will be released in CD and CD/DVD editions next month, before the band touches down in May for a series of live shows.
Plenty of big name artists have already done the ‘MTV Unplugged’ thing including Alicia Keys, Oasis and even Sir Paul McCartney, and Florence’s fans are in for a treat, with tracks from their debut album ‘Lungs’ and recent release ‘Ceremonials’ making the tracklist. There are also covers of Johnny Cash’s ‘Jackson’ and Otis Redding’s classic ‘Try A Little Tenderness’.
Florence & The Machine’s ‘MTV Unplugged’ is released in Australia on Friday April 13.
