It takes a helluva ballsy chick to take on a song as intricate, as iconic as Kate Bush’s ‘Wuthering Heights’, but we reckon if anyone can take it on with any amount of confidence, it’s Aussie songstress Robyn Loau.
Lifted from her latest long player ‘Only Human’, the album version (snippet below) stays relatively true to the original, adding some percussive production to keep things interesting and fresh.
The alternative single version strips things right back, leaving only stabs of piano and finger clicks as accompaniment.
But whichever version tickles your fancy, the real star of this is Robyn voice, as she tackles what’s undeniably one desperately complex tune with confident aplomb.
‘Wuthering Heights’ will be released digitally on Tuesday March 20.

Finally! I’ve had the album for a year and this track is the most played. Can’t wait to hear if there are any mixes. Robyn needs more Oz air-play.
