A national tour announcement by expat New Zealand pop sensation Kimbra is an exciting thing in itself, but when you add homegrown urban superstar Daniel Merriweather into the mix in the support role… well that’s another thing entirely.
Yes Kimbra, whose appearance on Gotye’s international smash ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ has seen her star bullet in an almost vertical trajectory, will hit the road in May for a series of five concerts – one in each of the five major capitals.
Kimbra will play tracks from her platinum-selling debut album ‘Vows’, along with the ace ‘Cameo Lover’, ‘Settle Down’ and ‘Good Intent’.
Daniel, meanwhile, will arrive home to give audiences a taste of what to expect from his forthcoming sophomore album, expected to drop later in the year. All in all, a very exciting concert-going prospect.
Tickets for all shows are on sale on Monday March 19.
