It would seem that Kylie Minogue’s not the only one celebrating her 25th anniversary in the music business this year, with Reckoning Entertainment this morning confirming that US hip hop outfit Public Enemy will tour Australia this year to celebrate their quarter of a century.
The band released their first album ‘Yo Bum Rush The Show’ back in 1987 and they’ve since notched up a string of R&B chart successes in their homeland and over in the United Kingdom.
Public Enemy will play dates in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane to co-incide with their appearance on the bill of the national Groovin’ The Moo Festivals. They’re set to release two albums (in June and September) this year.
