She was once a member of the relatively successful British hip hop outfit N-Dubz, but over the past year, Tulisa (last name Contostavlos) has been a highly visible member of the judging panel on the British version of ‘The X Factor’, so her popularity stocks are somewhat soaring.
So it’s no surprise that she’s decided to head down the pop road solo – and ‘Young’ is the first fruit of her labours, lifted from a forthcoming album that’s slated for a May release in her native UK.
And all in all, it’s a likeable Euro-inspired dance/pop track, which showcases Tulisa’s honeyed vocals – and the clip feels elicits the yearning within to go somewhere tropical and warm to escape the coming winter months. And do something cheeky.
It’s fresh, bright and summery.

I love this song. It’s definitely a change for the former N-Dubz-er.
