Aussie songstress Megan Washington was today announced as an ambassador for this year’s version of Record Store Day. She joins Lance Franklin and Big Scary in encouraging punters to head along to their favourite music store on Saturday April 21 to catch live gigs, special offers and exclusive products, available for one day only.
Megan’s been confirmed to appear at Hum Music in Newtown, adding to the list of those already confirmed for the day. Damien Leith, for example, will appear at three stores in Sydney across the day, while The Audreys will appear in Adelaide.
There’s plenty of goodies to get your hands on too, with a limited edition David Bowie 7″ vinyl single of ‘Starman’, a box set of four Beatles 7″ vinyl singles, a free Tom Waits poster with the latest album (at selected stores) and much more.
Record Store Day is headed to a music retailer near you on Saturday April 21.
